Hi,

This is not quite correct...

There is a flag for turning *on* the db alignment constants which should not be used

org.hps.conditions.enableSvtAlignmentConstants

Rafo, you can remove this from your scripts when you re-run the jobs.

If you need to know or want to confirm which runs have which alignment constants assigned to them let me know and I’ll get that info from the conditions db for you.

We should run with the exact same 4.0.1 jar file, just without the -DdisableSvtAlignmentConstants=false command line argument.

Hi, again.

Actually, you should be able to run over the holiday with 4.0.1 and just switch off the db alignment constants.

Fixing the other issues with hung events and crashes will have to wait until the 4.0.2 release, because the issues have not been merged into master yet and I don’t see it happening today.

Given this situation, we should not merge any additional, major issues/fixes into master until 4.0.2 is made or it could change the recon results for pass 7, which we do not want.

Ok, then I will put them in the ignore files list for now.

Hello Rafo,

Thanks for the reminder. As far as I know these have not been fixed. We'll have to come back in January and pick up these files.

There were also several types of fatal exceptions, most of them are
- dphi is large
- BorderedBandMatrix decomposeBand not positive definite

Are these also been fixed?

Hi, Norman.
This fix needs to be checked and merged in by the end of the day today in order for me to do this.

Jeremy,

We should make a 4.0.2 release that has Maurik's fix to the infinite loop problem.

Hi,

This is my last day at work before the holiday break.

I know we need an updated hps-java for pass 7 which would be the 4.0.2 tag.

Should I make this today based on the current master?

Otherwise, if you want to run over the break then a snapshot will need to be used.
