Hi, I am running up against the same issue as Oliver. I am trying to enable TPC for the dCache xroot door. I have an unauthenticated version working, but now need to handle authenticated. In order to test this, I set up two xrootd servers with gsi and default authorization (Authfile). I see the same failure (after the client sends the second SYNC to the destination). Is the story that we just need to enable user authentication as well, or is there some other best practice which should be observed?
