Hi Brian, I need to coordinate with Andy, but I think it is safe to say that we could start the release process in ~2 weeks. The next release will be 4.9.0, and than we will go for 5.0.0, which will have encryption. Of course if in the meanwhile there will be a need for a bugfix release we will provide one. Cheers, Michal ________________________________________ From: [log in to unmask] [[log in to unmask]] on behalf of Brian Bockelman [[log in to unmask]] Sent: 18 June 2018 16:34 To: xrootd-dev Subject: Release plans? Hi all, At least on the XrdHttp side, there's a few bugfixes and improvements (TPC plugin, status code improvements) that are queued up for the next release. I'd like to start doing some test builds & deployments on a subset of our local servers. So - what are the plans for the next release? What's the next planned version number for what's currently in master?
