@gganis just a (belated) follow-up on this.
Brian and I briefly talked about xrootd authentification mechanisms at CHEP, but we mainly talked about the new oauth-based mechanism:
so... just to say that we'd still be interested in getting these bare bones specs.
(I think some people from CERNBox would be also interested as well, as there's an incentive to use Go there)
