@bbockelm Many thanks, indeed I also tried that, but gave up when looking at the OpenSSL sources, since indeed what I saw was quite gross ;-) . So that is very appreciated! We only added the DN to our authfile since we saw several FTS using a DN and not providing correct VOMS attributes. This issue is fading away, so hopefully, we can drop this soon (maybe even already now, I have to check). We sadly need these workarounds, since we are already running WebDAV in production, so that's purely a measure to reduce the number of issues ;-).
