Over the past few months, we've seen increasing memory usage on our local redirector. It had been running fairly smoothly with a systemd MemoryLimit=1500M for over a year.
There's also been some recent discussion among US CMS T2 admins about climbing redirector memory usage.
I'm hoping the memory usage is a side effect increased HTTP traffic and this change addresses the issue. Otherwise, I'll plan to dive further into looking for memory leaks. Thanks again.
