I am wondering if this is a case of misunderstanding. When there were events like the SLAC-wide picnic, myself (I am not sure about other players) would take some food to eat after the game, rather than having the food first. For these events, we are supposed to take food at any time. For restricted events held by groups that were not open to everyone, I do not recall ever having taken any food other than the left-overs that were offered to us.

Hamid,

I have never seen soccer players fill there plates over and over that's ridiculous. I do know that on some occasions they have offered us some left over food, I don't know if the person is in charge  or not but they do offer. That is ridiculous and insulting the person who said this should be ashamed.

Luis

Hi Hamid

I also find this very inappropriate from the coordinators side. I play almost every day and I can assure you no soccer player has filled a plate before a game. We have filled plates few times AFTER the game, but always when the event is over and when the workers there offer us to get the leftover food.

regards

Last year, there were some complaints that soccer people were getting food at these events and filling up their plates once before soccer and coming back and filling plates again after soccer games. The coordinators have asked me to email you guys and let you know that you need to ask someone in charge at the event if it is OK for you to get food. You cannot go get food at these events without asking someone first. The coordinators have mentioned that they might have to go to actually passing out tickets for people to get food so only their people are the ones getting food. It got so bad last year that they ran out of food because they mentioned some soccer people got food twice and some even came back for a third and fourth plates.
