Dear colleagues,

I would like to announce the next Mini-Workshop on detector related infrastructure and CFS that will take place on Sunday, October 27th, in Ichinoseki. The evolving agenda is on Indico: https://agenda.linearcollider.org/event/8297/ <https://agenda.linearcollider.org/event/8297/>

The workshop is scheduled for the afternoon of the day right before LCWS19 starts in Sendai, 30 min away by Shinkansen. This workshop will concentrate on detector requirements on the local infrastructure. Part of the agenda will be a tour to the recently vacated NEC facility right next to Ichinoseki station. This facility is under investigation as a possible location for an ILC pre-campus and could be a place where early detector installation work would be done before the IP and main campus are ready.

The time slot (14:00-18:00) on Sunday should allow for LCWS participants who arrive earlier on the weekend in Japan to participate and still get in time to Sendai on Sunday evening to check into their respective hotels.

The registration for the workshop is now open, please register when you plan to attend in person.

Cheers,
Karsten.
