Our xrootd doors were configured to use http and we could curl wget them. ``` wget -d -c -v http://gftp-2.t2.ucsd.edu:1094/store/user/smay/ttH/tarballs/package_ttH_Babies_RunIIv4.4_ttZ.tar.gz ``` However this was destryoing hadoop since this was running all over US T2 so we wanted to profit from the squid caches at all sites but the squid was alwauys requesting the file from scratch.
