1- Reminder for contributing to the new soccer balls (see email below).

2- There is increasing frustration for both the very late starting time and having to adjust the numbers and size of the field when the game is already on. We all understand being late for work reasons, but if you constantly arrive when the game is already on, please try to come a bit earlier, be considerate with the people that do arrive on time.

3- There is another soccer group that plays in the afternoons (as far as I understood they don’t have a fix schedule and only play from time to time, here is the contact for this group [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]> we may want to organize a game against them in the future).

See you 12.25 today!!!!!!!

Cheers

Hello all

ARCAS won’t buy soccer balls for us at this time (see below), so lets all pitch in and get them ourselves.

I propose $20 or as much as you want, bring it to the field or send it to me through venmo, cash app or PayPal ([log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>, 650-394-6566). I’ll remind you few times the next few days and buy the balls end of next week.

cheers

Thanks for the email.

Due to budget constraints at this time, I cannot purchase these items. I do appreciate the links, so if I can make these purchases in the future, I’ll have a reference. If you would like to send a link for balls that would also be helpful. Once the major purchases are completed, I can look into smaller purchases.

To help explain the basics, as the facility manager there are a list of items I have to maintain and I have a budget for them. However the items you’ve asked for are not on the list. I do remember purchasing the cones last year and if they’re being run over by the grounds crew, why would the soccer groups leave them out? If equipment is not taken care, I will not/cannot continue to support those activities.

I’ll let you know when/if I can make those purchases in the future.
Thank you.
