Yes, I agree that 1159 is much cleaner. BTW you know that the pointer will be zero if authorization was not enabled. So, you may want to rethink how to handle that. I suppose I should have added yet another envar to tell you that. Is not configuring authorization something that is acceptable to the Macaroon support?
