Indeed the source RPM doesn’t contain the vomsxrd part as it was a git sub-module. Therefore xrootd-voms would have to be pushed as a separate package to EPEL.

However, we decided recently to move vomsxrd to xrootd core, it’s no longer a git sub-module but a full-fledged component of xrootd core. Hence in the next release
we will be able to push xrootd-voms as a sub-package of xrootd.

I’m currently preparing 4.12.2 and you should see an RC soon. The 4.12.2 once pushed to EPEL will include xrootd-voms (this will most likely be a shorter path than
releasing a new package in EPEL).

Why EPEL 4.12.x version doesn't come with new xrootd-voms package that was added to the official XRootD 4.12.x release? I hoped we could drop dependency on vomsxrd from WLCG repository when libXrdSecgsiVOMS can come directly from XRootD release.
