Dear HPS Software group, At this Wednesday's meeting I would like to discuss data formats for HPS, specifically on how to take up a whole lot less tape and disk space than we do now for the same productivity. I have asked Norman to give a presentation on LCIO, how we can reduce the size of the LCIO output, and how/wether we can change the contents of the data structures in LCIO. If you have an opinion on how we can reduce the data output from the reconstruction step (hps-java), or what data absolutely has to be in the output for your analysis, or what data format would be better, please send me an email with your proposed presentation so I can add you to the agenda. Please plan on succinct presentations to keep the meeting time manageable.
