Hi Andy,

indeed I do not find much difference with our test setup (but of course I can only simulate a low number of requests as compared to production).
So I can only give it more heavy testing on the production setup, for which I'll then use the next XRootD release (5.0.1 probably). I'll try both options there and check what happens when FTS is hammering our instance ;-).
