As a quick update, we had a quattor issue over the weekend due to which the changes did not get picked up by the test worker nodes. Hopefully it is fixed now and we will have some more information for you on Wednesday.

Formally speaking looking at CEPH, I understand that taking all delays into account, the maximum time lag of a request coming in from the gateway container on the worker node, and the response from echo is < 5 seconds. Certainly a lot less than 30 minutes. Hopefully the tracing that Tom is getting will give us what is the timeout that is being hit here.

About the 5.x series, what statistics will we be getting (of interest in this discussion)? And what timescale are we looking at for this?
