Hi Raja,

You can send those config files directly to me ([log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>) and Andy ([log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>). I think it is best not to post those config files on the internet.

I though RAL has a cluster of Xcache setup on batch nodes. Or do you only have one machine for Xcache? If so, how much space does Xcache has?

regards,

@wyang007<https://github.com/wyang007> Yes - the jobs read from the xcache. Looking at the configuration I see the following in the xrootd config on the worker node

pfc.ram 7g

pfc.diskusage 0.89 0.90 purgecoldfiles 2d 5

pfc.blocksize 16m

Actually we have two configuration files - for the gateway and the proxy. Would it make sense to post both of them here for you to have a look?

@xrootd-dev<https://github.com/xrootd-dev> and @wyang007<https://github.com/wyang007> Both of you mentioned CEPH being overwhelmed. Is there anything else (other than the "Operation expired" error) that xrootd would expect that I can see on the storage side? From what I understand the storage admins at RAL see that CEPH is healthy from the point of view of the storage.

Thanks and Cheers,
Raja.
