Hi,
I see your points... however the 403 puzzles me.
Would you mind to boost the log level for a short time in order
to catch such an error? It's the first time I see such a thing.
You should set:
- the dmlite log level to 4
- add "http.trace all" to the xrootd config
... and then isolate a manageable part of the dmlite.log
and xrootd.log, I will have a look at it.
