@Tom-Byrne good, I can see data being saved, I'll look at it as soon as i can, it's not exactly trivial.

@rajanandakumar it's more complicated than this ... we need actual lhcb jobs and data files to see what they are doing. Different typed of lhcb jobs will also have different access patterns. Actually, what kind of jobs do you expect to run? Reconstruction and user/physics analysis typically have very different read rates and access patterns.
