If you are not running real jobs, we won't know the real access patterns. The way things are now, it's easy to break the setup ... but we need to know how it gets broken with real jobs so we can fix it the right way.

If these were the real jobs, implementing vector reads properly in xrootd-ceph interface would have fixed the problem.
