Sorry, was on the phone before and couldn't dig around myself. From the source code:

  1. authz isn't anything standardized in Xrootd itself; it must be understood by the underlying authorization plugin. Is it safe to assume that this is the key expected by the ALICE plugin?
  2. It does look like the value is passed to the authorization framework URL-encoded (i.e., with the %0A). I quickly reviewed the recent commits and don't see any behavior change from that.
