fully my bad for not noticing it earlier — the bugfix in:

062cd42 — [Server] Fix memory leak of 64MB per checksum request. Fixes #1291
32b786e — Update notes on memory leak patch for checksumsi processing.

is actually the issue hitting us most with 5.0.x right now, since it requires us to restart XRootD every ~2 hours (if heavy transfers of small files are ongoing, it easily leaks a few GB in minutes).

Of course, it will not be in 5.0.3 anymore, but could we please schedule that for a future 5.0.x release (or 5.1.0 if that is earlier)? Thanks in advance, and sorry for not noticing earlier that this was not part of stable-5.0.x yet!
