I agree with Michal. Perhaps this is something I can investigate in Gfal2.
However, I'm confused on this part of the server error:
Permission denied: user=nobody, access=WRITE, inode="/cms/store/user/ddavila":ddavila:ddavila:drwxr-xr-x

The next actions seem to fail due to the same reason. In this case, I don't trust so much the error message reported to the user. It seems to be just the first one of many.
