Hi! is there a known comunication incompatibility between v4 redirector and v5 server? I try to make this work but no success .. i commented out the monPerf (from cms.sched) to reduce the number of potential problems, now the logs on the data server are seemingly without errors but the data server is not subscribed to redirector ... Moreover i see no message in the redirector logs about some subscription request ... Some, not so important things (but that have bug qualifications) are that: (note the -b option is used) 1. pidfiles are created even if the -s is specified in command line (and for the usage without -b would be important to not write any pidfile if it was not exclicitly requested) 2. If localroot and the export path is specified the resolved path is LOCALROOT/EXPORT_PATH instead of EXPORT_PATH/LOCALROOT .. is this expected? while LOCALROOT is defined as the location where filesystem is rooted the mechanics is that the xrootd append LOCALROOT to any file request so, IMHO, actually this LOCALROOT should be relative to what path is actually exported, so if i export /DATA01 then requests should go to /DATA01/LOCALROOT ... do i miss something here?
