Hi Eiko, I know you found an alternate solution. However, I want to point out that as far as xrdmapc is concerned, glogin is a mere data server not a manager. Notice it has been tagged as "Srv" not "Man". So, I don't know what the setup is but I can't do much as it seems all these machines are behind a firewall and inaccessible from tghe outside.
