I concur with Nathan. We did it because we could. The 2015/16 recon output files contain everything, including the raw data. Reducing the output size is currently one of the critical path issues for the 2019 processing.

I think itís because the previous data sets were so small, it was deemed ok and useful, and not a big overhead on analyzers.  For 2019 (and future big runs) itís obviously not an option.
