@juztas : thanks for reporting the problem! If I understand correctly there are 2 problems: 1) using a setup with multiuser plugin + cephfs, `xrdfs ls -l` fails if the target is a file? (no matter if the host is a redirector or a data server) Are you using the 5.2.0-rc1, for this to work you need following patch: c76cc296ac5322be73f86694bc96c5d0cff06024! If you do have the patch and it still doesn't work could you enable client-side logs: `export XRD_LOGLEVEL=Dump` and rerun the test and then give us the client logs? 2) `gfal-ls` fails to list directory via redirector, but it does work with `xrdfs`, is this correct? Is this the same setup as in 1) ? Anyway, this as this seems to work with `xrdfs` it is most likely a problem in `gfal`.
