ping @simonmichal Hi! this would be really useful for a lot of critical operation where, baring a server-side message error that point to an command error (file not found or a syntax error) one might want the the operation to be automatically retried (and this would be really useful for large lists of files).
the default 0 would mean no retry, and the option should work recursively (for a list of jobs of metafiles a retry of 2, with retry each metafile 2 times, and the whole list 2 times so a total of 4 trials per file/metafile. of course unless successful )
