@adriansev : no, partial downloads cannot be verified but what we do (AFAIR) is to ask the destination to calculate the checksum of the whole file after it gets closed and we compare to the user provided value.

Regarding posc, let me test first how it will behave, just to verify if everything works as expected. I'm not sure if there isn't a small window of opportunity for the write recovery to reopen the file even in case of files opened under posc. If there is, posc probably won't clean up the file on time (but maybe I'm delusional and this does not exist). I will let you know!
