Thanks for the reply, please the config attached.

I forgot to mention that the reason why I am trying to enable POSC is to allow the XRootD server to inform
the client that a TPC transfer has been completed.  For some reason this doesn't happen and I assumed
that this may be the fact the POSC is disabled.

The TPC transfer does result in a file being written to Ceph but the file is closed only after ...5 mins (300s)

and exactly at that moment, the client gives up and times out.  What I see when I try to run the TPC command myself is

with the number on the right decreasing.

Hi George,

It may ne impossible to enable it, it all depends on what else is
configured. Certain configurations are incompatible with POSC so I need to
know what the server is told it is doing. Probably the easiest way would
be to send me a pointer to the config file.
