well, I think I will just add the protection to `~FileStateHandler`, the `PostMaster` staff has been added recently to the destructor https://github.com/xrootd/xrootd/blob/d9abff3b124a4ee9f3d902fdd0a7948314200670/src/XrdCl/XrdClFileStateHandler.cc#L797-L800 so from root perspective this is a regression in XrdCl I suppose.
