I reran this command (thanks Paul) with -d 3 and checked to see if the xrdcp client received an "oksofar" reply. It does not. ``` [2021-08-09 07:49:22.545460 -0500][Dump ][XRootD ] [ceph-gw8.gridpp.rl.ac.uk:1094] Got a kXR_ok response to request kXR_read (handle: 0x00000000, offset: 994050048, size: 4194304) [2021-08-09 07:49:22.648140 -0500][Dump ][XRootD ] [ceph-gw8.gridpp.rl.ac.uk:1094] Got a kXR_ok response to request kXR_read (handle: 0x00000000, offset: 998244352, size: 1755648) ``` The mystery continues, then.
