@simonmichal If you're okay with this addition, then on my fork I have versions of patches for PR #1585 and PR #1586 (that also address some other Issues that I found along the way) rebased on this that are passing CI. How do you feel about having two CI systems for XRootD? My goal here isn't to replicate everything in .gitlab-ci.yml (right off the bat at least) but to address some of the most common OS builds, with the idea that if it can pass on CentOS7 and Debian bullseye then it should pass most other places. Other jobs could be added on as well, of course.
