When `xrdcp` output is going to a log file, it looks like
```
^M[8MB/512MB][  1%][>                                                 ][8MB/s]  ^M[16MB/512MB][  3%][=>                                                ][16MB/s]  ^M[32MB/512MB][  6%][===>                                              ][16MB/s]  ^M[56MB/512MB][ 10%][=====>                                            ][18.67MB/s]  ^M[72MB/512MB][ 14%][=======>                                          ][18MB/s]  ^M[88MB/512MB][ 17%][========>   [..]
```
This is probably not very useful.
The behaviour can be turned off by the user (`--nopbar`), but perhaps `xrdcp` could be smarter - detect that output is not going to a terminal and disable the option itself?
