Suggest to allow the use of root:// URLs for xrdfs commands, in addition to the current split server + pathname syntax. In that case, either path or dirname arguments would be URLs (and the host[:port] argument should then not be provided).

Rationale: the main CLI entry point for most users is xrdcp, which uses these URLs. It feels natural that the same URL used for a transfer ought be used for metadata operations such as xrdfs stat or xrdfs ls.
User-side parsing of such URLs to split out server and path is cumbersome and error-prone.
