@jade2k11598 : thank you for reporting this issue, could you please let me know which is the version of XRootD that you are trying to build? Could you provide the steps to reproduce the problem, our standalone xrootd builds do work on OSX for openssl 1.0.2t, 1.1.1l and 3.0.0. My understanding is that you are building xrootd as part of root build, right? On a similar note, could you try to build standalone xrootd, once we have this working we can tackle the build inside of root (you can try building master
branch)?
Few remarks about openssl support:
master
) WITH_OPENSSL3
has been renamed to ENABLE_OPENSSL3
and is set to TRUE
by default (so you shouldn't need to set it), it should be also compatible with older versions of opensslOPENSSL_INCLUDE_DIR
, OPENSSL_SSL_LIBRARY
and OPENSSL_CRYPTO_LIBRARY
