We've been doing some tests with the nightly builds of XRootD from the experimental repo (http://cern.ch/storage-ci/xrootd/experimental/epel-7/x86_64/) and recently noticed some incompatibilities between these builds and the OSG packaging due to some Python 3 requirements https://opensciencegrid.atlassian.net/browse/SOFTWARE-5126. It appears that this may actually be the result of XRootD v5 disappearing from the experimental repo
