If it were only so easy. We already have a trace option that "xrootd.trace auth" https://xrootd.slac.stanford.edu/doc/dev55/xrd_config.htm#_Toc88514014 and an equivalent one for http (though I see the docs haven't been updated). What is wanted here is the actual DN string which is not an official part of the SecEntity structure and it's location varies by protocol.
