Today I was trying to figure out if an older (5.4.3) or newer (5.5.1) version might fix the issue. Result: 5.4.3 and 5.5.0 seem to work now, but 5.5.1 fails (copy is zero bytes for some reason). So why did 5.5.0 suddenly start to work? Since I am working with containers, creating new images will also create new version combos (I do `yum update` in the Dockerfile). The difference between a working 5.5.0 image and a broken one: ```diff diff broken.packages working.packages 7c7 < bind-license-9.11.4-26.P2.el7_9.9.noarch --- > bind-license-9.11.4-26.P2.el7_9.10.noarch 10c10 < ca-certificates-2021.2.50-72.el7_9.noarch --- > ca-certificates-2022.2.54-74.el7_9.noarch 13c13 < copy-jdk-configs-3.3-10.el7_5.noarch --- > copy-jdk-configs-3.3-11.el7_9.noarch 37c37 < expat-2.1.0-14.el7_9.x86_64 --- > expat-2.1.0-15.el7_9.x86_64 66c66 < java-1.8.0-openjdk-headless-1.8.0.342.b07-1.el7_9.x86_64 --- > java-1.8.0-openjdk-headless-1.8.0.352.b08-2.el7_9.x86_64 121,122c121,122 < nspr-4.32.0-1.el7_9.x86_64 < nss-3.67.0-4.el7_9.x86_64 --- > nspr-4.34.0-3.1.el7_9.x86_64 > nss-3.79.0-4.el7_9.x86_64 124,128c124,128 < nss-softokn-3.67.0-3.el7_9.x86_64 < nss-softokn-freebl-3.67.0-3.el7_9.x86_64 < nss-sysinit-3.67.0-4.el7_9.x86_64 < nss-tools-3.67.0-4.el7_9.x86_64 < nss-util-3.67.0-1.el7_9.x86_64 --- > nss-softokn-3.79.0-4.el7_9.x86_64 > nss-softokn-freebl-3.79.0-4.el7_9.x86_64 > nss-sysinit-3.79.0-4.el7_9.x86_64 > nss-tools-3.79.0-4.el7_9.x86_64 > nss-util-3.79.0-1.el7_9.x86_64 131d130 < osg-release-3.6-5.osg36.el7.noarch 209,210c208,209 < tzdata-2022c-1.el7.noarch < tzdata-java-2022c-1.el7.noarch --- > tzdata-2022e-1.el7.noarch > tzdata-java-2022e-1.el7.noarch 222d220 < xrootd-lcmaps-99-1.osg36.el7.x86_64 ``` I dropped `xrootd-lcmaps` since we never really used it, but I am not sure how any other the other packages would impact davs/http TPC transfers. -- Reply to this email directly or view it on GitHub: https://github.com/xrootd/xrootd/issues/1736#issuecomment-1292240061 You are receiving this because you commented.
