@xrootd-dev As I mentioned in a previous comment (#1721 (comment)), our site does NOT use the multi-user plug-in. However, we do use the xrootd-hdfs plug-in, which may provide similar functionality with regard to user file ownership. As I said in my previous comment (#1721 (comment)), we disabled checkpointing and persistence and thereby resolved this issue.
