I can see this from the FTS debug logs before you ask the HEAD request: (SEToken) Found token in credential_map[davs://xrootd.phy.bris.ac.uk:1094/xrootd/cms/store/mc/Run3Summer22GS/MinBias_TuneCP5_13p6TeV-pythia8/GEN-SIM/124X_mcRun3_2022_realistic_v10-v1/40006/1d37f646-1a9d-4aa7-ad26-58c0d5b631ba.root] (access=write) (needed=read)

If you have write access, does it imply that you have read access too?
