Fixes for failures seen in my fork of xrootd. Funnily enough, these were only failing in the [fork](https://github.com/amadio/xrootd/actions/runs/3601016323), for the same [hash](https://github.com/xrootd/xrootd/actions/runs/3600561342) as master.
