Well, one possibility is that you omit the end2end checksum because the data integrity is provided by pgread/pgwrite anyway (crc32c per every 4KB block), then you can configure the copy process to calculate the checksum for the source file only.

The other option is we add more parameters to the add_job method to allow you to specify the second checksum type.
