On March 21st all ssh access to ifarm and qcdi machines will require an ssh hop though a 2-factor login machine such as scilogin.jlab.org<http://scilogin.jlab.org/>. To help with common ssh configuration topics, see the following updated articles:

  * For details about ssh and transferring files: Connecting to Farm and QCD Interactive Nodes<https://jlab.servicenowservices.com/kb?id=kb_article_view&sysparm_article=KB0015066>

  * Advanced topics, including ssh configuration to reduce the number of times a password needs to be entered: (Open)SSH configuration for Farm and QCD clusters<https://jlab.servicenowservices.com/scicomp?id=kb_article_view&sysparm_article=KB0014918>

  * For large file transfers with higher performance, Globus<https://jlab.servicenowservices.com/kb?id=kb_article_view&sysparm_article=KB0014843> is available.

The scilogin.jlab.org<http://scilogin.jlab.org/> ssh host is available for testing. On March 21st 2factor login node use will be required.

If you are unable to ssh to scilogin.jlab.org<http://scilogin.jlab.org/> using two-factor credentials, please contact the helpdesk <mailto:[log in to unmask]> for assistance.
