Hi Yvan, By default all that prepare does is seed the location cache. If you want staging you either have to write a plug-in (easy to do with the generalized API we introduced) or configure tape staging for your storage. This can be raw staging or FRM-type staging. IN2P3 had this configured decades ago so perhaps the knowledge is still there. Otherwise, we will need a crash course for you.
