Dear Colleagues,

An effort has been started to write a white paper for P5 specifying the US detector R&D needs for future Higgs factories. This was initiated in the US community interested in FCCee, and the US LC (ILC and C^3) were invited to join that effort, to produce a description that includes both. The topical efforts are led by the following individuals. If you and your US institution are interested in any of these areas, please contact these individuals to inform them and provide information. This is urgent, as a final report is planned in June.

Best regards,
Jim, Andy and Caterina
