@jthiltges - I think this is a separate item from #1976.
- #1976 is for a failure when using ranges that should otherwise succeed. The error response looks fine, it just shouldn't have failed.
- This one is for a HTTP protocol violation (e.g., should not have two responses) when sending back an (expected) error response.
