@ccaffy - you may want to take a look at this. The algorithm here is ... not ideal.

@bbockelm, I started to have a look at this issue. Is the behavior correct? Or is it just the algorithm that is not ideal?

I am refactoring the algorithm. I also noticed that if a user asks for a range that is out of bound, the connection is just closed client-side.

It looks like I will have to review this functionality more in depth ;)
