Second Announcement of LCWS2024, July 8-11 in Tokyo
The 2024 International Workshop on Future Linear Colliders (LCWS2024)
will be held
from 8th to 11th July 2024 at Hongo Campus, The University of Tokyo.
Registration and abstract submission are now open at our website
https://agenda.linearcollider.org/e/lcws2024 .
Anyone with an interest in any aspect of linear Higgs factories,
including physics, detector and accelerator technologies,
as well as connections to neighboring fields and the wider application
of technologies,
is warmly invited to attend.
The submission deadline for full consideration of abstracts is April
26th and
the deadline to take advantage of the reduced early registration fee is
May 24th.
In-person participation is highly encouraged, although online participation
in parallel sessions will be possible (registration required).
Limited financial support for students,
sponsored by the Advanced Accelerator Association Promoting Science &
Technology (AAA),
can be applied for after registration.
Prizes will be awardeed for the best student poster presentations,
supported by AAA,
and peer-reviewed workshop proceedings will be published in the EPJ WoC.
Participants requiring a visa to enter Japan are strongly encouraged to
register as
soon as possible, since the visa application can in some cases take up
to a few months.
