Yep. Dave Gerdes stepped into this one too. At least if I recognize the symptom. You specified the file in the File menu 'input file'? Wrongo. (though probably a good guess) You need to specify the input dataset as an argument to main when you fire up nld_win. Datacontrol does the *ascii* IO; you've told it to read back an ascii file - at least that's what it expects. We should probably disable that menu item. Richard "David L.
