I have been looking at the calorimetry for the Small detector and not understanding the interaction probabilities and containment. I just discovered what I am pretty sure is the problem: the materials file for Copper (the HAD cal material) has aluminum's value for density! We'll double check the other materials files. The one affected here is in Cu.mat which ends up in your bin/nld/PEGS4 directory. The Large detector, which is all Pb, looks fine. Dang!
